“ I absolutely love North City Bistro! This charming local business puts in a tremendous effort to create a delightful atmosphere filled with entertainment and delicious food. They regularly update their menu and drinks seasonally, which keeps things exciting. It's the perfect spot for a date or a fun outing with friends. My personal favorite dish was the Aglio e Olio with shrimp, and you cannot miss the pistachio tiramisu! We can’t wait to return for Jacqueline Tabor’s show in June! ”
“ Love this little place! The food is excellent. Truffle fries are addicting. The caeser salad is made right with none of the dark greens and lively parm chips umm so good. Enjoy And you'll see from the pictures it's a wine bar, I'm not a wine drinker but they make mixed drinks really well. ”
“ I love that this place has great food, a beautiful wine list and they support local musicians! We had a really nice time and will be back for sure soon! We had chicken cesar salad, fish and chips and banana pudding. All were great. They have great house made tartar and cesar dressing! ”
“ Gem of a place! Live music, cozy setting and great drinks and food. What more can you ask for?! Their hours are limited so plan accordingly. There was no cover charge for music on the night we were there. I heard the cover charge on some nights is about 20. My favorite menu items were the cauliflower appetizer and the risotto (comes with scallops). Steak bites and meat patties were also enjoyed by others in our group. ”

“ North City Bistro in Shoreline is really special. It's vintage but modern, cozy and romantic, yet unpretentious. I remember when the family who runs this establishment took over—I was bummed that Sharon and Ray left! Yet the new owners have done such a terrific job of maintaining the integrity of a historical, independent small business. Rare in these times. The food is so good--they do catering, too. The truffled fries are hot, savory, and crispy. The roasted half-chicken and Caesar salad were even better than I remember. I've honestly never had anything here that wasn't delicious. As for parking, it's a tiny lot and they are very busy during the live music shows, which is another reason the Bistro recommends reservations.
